A

Austerfield, Adam - Director of Projects
Adam has been involved in corporate and public sector projects with LSE for over ten years, and is the Eastern European Coordinator and Hungarian correspondent for the IDEA global/LSE Emerging Markets Service.  He is responsible for large scale executive education and consulting projects, particularly in the UK and across Europe including Spain, the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Malta but also worldwide.  He studied Russian and Eastern European studies at the School of Slavonic Studies, and then gained an MSc in the Political Economy of Transition in Europe from LSE.  He is a member of the British Association for Central and Eastern Europe, the Royal Society for Asian Affairs and is the Chair of the LSE Alumni Association in Spain.  He is also an active executive in the Duke Corporate Education & LSE Enterprise Joint Venture.

Begum, Anju - Project Coordinator
Anju is one of the Project Coordinators, working closely with Project Managers on existing contracts as well as new bids regarding both Consultancy and Executive Education.  She holds a BSc in Computing Science from the Middlesex University.  Prior to working at LSE Enterprise Anju worked at LSE’s Research Project Development Division.

Bikbaev, Yury - Programme Director    
Yury's principal responsibilities include LSE Executive Education, specifically our customised programmes and long-term institutional partnerships with public sector organisations, as well as select commercial research and international consultancy projects. Working closely with LSE academics and outside experts, Yury structures design and delivery of customised executive education and training programmes, specifically in the fields of international relations and diplomacy, public sector management, economics, business administration, and finance. He also works as part of the Duke Corporate Education & LSE Enterprise Joint Venture on customised executive education projects for multinational corporations. He has a diverse career background in industry, international banking and government related programmes. Yury has an MBA with concentration in Finance, an MSc in Politics of the World Economy and a BA in Industrial Technology.

Bull, Louisa - Receptionist (Maternity Leave)

Flemington, Simon - Chief Executive Officer
As the Chief Executive of  LSE Enterprise, Simon is responsible for strategic business development, LSE Enterprise corporate governance matters and major projects. He holds a BA in Politics and Economic History and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  Prior to LSE he ran a number of educational businesses at BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the corporation.

Kidman, Marie - Project Manager
Marie manages Executive Education programmes and Consultancy projects.  She works closely with Programme Director Yury Bikbaev on the delivery of worldwide customised Executive Education programmes.  Marie works with academics tendering for new projects within both the private and public sector.  Marie holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the LSE.

Kucharska, Jo-Ann - Financial Controller & Company Secretary
Jo-Ann manages all areas of finance and corporate secretarial duties for LSE Enterprise . She is an associate member of ICSA and is also in the process of obtaining her CIMA qualification. Before joining LSE Enterprise , Jo-Ann was the Group Corporate Accountant at Golar Management (UK) Ltd, the vessel managing company of the Golar LNG shipping group.

Lac, Jane - Project Manager
Jane manages both Executive Education programmes and Consultancy Projects, she is also involved in the business development activities of  LSE Enterprise , with a focus on consultancy and commercial research projects. Jane monitors requests for new commercial engagements, and takes an active part in the authoring of bids for new business, including tendering for various new consultancy and training contracts with a wide variety of organisations. Prior to joining LSE Enterprise, she worked for the National Health Service.  Jane holds a BA (Hons) in Law and Business Studies from the University of Warwick.

McMahon, Jeannine - Project Director
Jeannine primarily manages consultancy projects.  She works closely with LSE Academics from the health sector, public policy and LSE London. Jeannine is the coordinator for LSE Enterprise events and assists with internal and external promotion of LSE Enterprise. She has a BA (Hons) in History and Media from Ulster University.

Mortimer, Horatio - Special Programmes Manager
Horatio organises the iXXi series, which brings together leaders of the academic, business and policy communities. Before joining ELSE he worked at the United Nations in New York.

Rudd, Robin - Project Manager
Robin manages Executive Education programmes and Consultancy projects within LSE Enterprise, and is active in monitoring requests for new commercial engagements from outside the School. Focussing in particular on consultancy and commercial research projects, she works closely with academics in the authoring of bids for new business with a wide variety of organisations, as well as providing both client and academic with ongoing support throughout a project’s duration once won. Prior to joining LSE Enterprise, Robin worked for the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence. She holds a BA (Hons) in English from Pembroke College, Cambridge University.

Sen, Julius - Associate Director and Senior Programme Adviser
Julius functions as LSE Enterprise’s liaison with the International Trade Policy Unit in the Department of International Affairs, which is implementing a comprehensive work programme on trade policy for the period 2004-2006. He also advises on programme design and programme delivery for other trade policy projects, including executive education and capacity building programmes. He has a civil service background, from India, and also teaches courses at Birkbeck college on the WTO and on the political economy of developing countries.

Shipp, Jeremey - Project Coordinator
Jeremey is a Project Coordinator at LSE Enterprise, the commercial arm of the London School of Economics. Singh, Sandeep - Project Manager
Sandeep is responsible for managing commercial research, international policy advice and capacity building projects. He works closely with LSE academics and outside experts, to facilitate design and delivery of projects in the areas of development management, international trade, environment and climate change. He is an alumni of London School of Economics, London, and National Institute of Technology, India. He has previously worked with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), and British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Ward, Alessa - Project Coordinator
Alessa is a Project Coordinator at LSE Enterprise, the commercial arm of the London School of Economics. She works with Project Managers and Directors on both Executive Education and Consultancy projects.  Alessa is a key member of the implementation team and is involved in facilitating course delivery.  Prior to joining LSE Enterprise Alessa worked at the British Library.  She was also very active whilst at university and was a Student Representative for University College London.  She holds a BA from University College London in History.
